Modular construction changes where a building is built, but it does not eliminate the work required to bring a project together.
The factory, design, site, foundation, transportation, crane plan, modular set, field trades, and final completion all have to work as parts of the same construction process. When those pieces are coordinated well, modular can deliver what it was intended to. When they are not, the advantages of building offsite can quickly be lost in the field.
Quartz Modular was built around that understanding.
Our experience began with Quartz’s own modular housing developments, where our team worked across the full factory-to-field process—from manufacturer and design coordination through foundations, setting, field construction, and Certificate of Occupancy. That work has included individual homes, infill projects, complex mountain sites, build-to-rent housing, and community-scale development.
Today, we bring that experience to projects for other builders, General Contractors, developers, agencies, nonprofits, and housing organizations.
Quartz can join an existing construction team for a defined Modular Set & Dry-In scope or serve as the General Contractor for projects that need broader field execution through completion.
We are not tied to a single factory or a single way of structuring a modular project. Our role is to understand the building, the site, the project team, and the scope—and make the factory-to-field portion of the project work.
Together, the Quartz Properties companies deliver innovative building and housing solutions across the Southeast.
Tell us where your project stands and what you need from the construction team. Whether you already have a manufacturer and General Contractor, need an experienced modular GC, or are still working through how the factory and field scopes should come together, we can determine where Quartz fits.
